Dark Web Monitoring on Desktop App

Hi there
My account says my Dark Web Monitorining is active.
However, my desktop app says I need to activate it. When I click on it, it doesnt do anything apart from asking me to reopen my app and says 'waiting for activation to complete. I do that and nothing happens. I noticed I haven’t had any alerts all year whereas last year I had a number of them.
1: I am worried my DW monitoring is not working
2: How can I get my alerts back on my app so I don’t have to sign in every day? Previously this feature was clearly visible on my app so I could see it every morning. Having to sign in to the website to see it isn’t at all helpful.

As you can see, the app says it is not activated - but my account on the website says ‘monitioring active’ (in green, top right)

Help and thoughts would be appreciated.

Are you signed in to your account in the app?

Thanks a lot for getting back to me - I signed in, but all it does is open the webpage for DWMonitoring. What I am after is the icon on the app - previously there was always an icon that would display green or red if there was an alert. I could see it on my app along with VPN etc. Now it seems the only way to see my DWM is to sign into the website.

Is that correct?

and you’re Norton 360? or you’re Norton VPN Plus/Ultimate?

Open calls https://my.norton.com/extspa/lifelock with my Norton 360 v25.5
Sorry, I do not recall an icon.

Thanks for your fast reply - I am on Norton 360 Premium. This was always a feature on N360 Premium in the past - so how come it’s not there anymore? Is it a glitch in my app or (most likely) something I’ve missed?

Sorry again…I don’t know.
Lets hear from Community

On home - It says Control Panel and next to it - Alerts - If there is a DWM alert will I see it there? Also, what is the Genie Scam Protection?

Hello @DLXM

Oh! Okay → DWM alert appears with Home → Control Panel → Alerts
Thanks for reminding me.
Sorry, I don’t recall seeing a DWM alert…so, I don’t know what/if something changed.

When you open your DWM webpage. Do you have an Alert? and no Alert at Norton 360 Home → Alerts ?

Caveat: I’ve not seen Norton Genie with my Norton 360…at this time.

Really appreciate your reply - It said I had a message, but it then said it failed to load DWM and the message would not open. I clicked off and on and now it says I have no new messages. This kind of stuff makes me so anxious

Oh! Okay…now that you’re Signed In/Active…hopefully, Home → Alerts will behave for you.

Ha ha - I wish - It says it is unable to load the DWM information and has spent the last 30 mins ‘gathering my data’ - something tells me nothing is going to happen. Hope this isn’t always going to happen everytime I get an alert

Oh!? Okay…Please review…may be related here

Perfect link - at least I’m not the only onw bjm - thanks for directing me there
