Free Amazon Gift Card Offer

When will I receive the free gift card?

The email I received was dated 9/16 and this is what it said:

Congratulations! You are eligible for our Amazon.com gift card offer. Once we confirm you have remained a member for at least 60 days, a follow-up email will be on its way with redemption instructions on how to claim your gift card. You will have 30 days from the receipt of that redemption email to claim your gift card. Terms apply.*

Pleased to confirm that I have now received the Amazon voucher.

A big thank you to @Gayathri_R and @peterweb for all their help in resolving this matter.

Hi @spoteet,

Could you check your inbox please? Thank you.

-Gayathri

The link in your email says the offer is no longer available.

Hi,

We apologise for the delay. I have sent you a private message. Please check your inbox when you get a chance. Thank you.

Firsty, I would like to thank peterweb for escalating this matter. Sadly, Norton appear to be acting with very little integrity by simply ignoring this issue and hoping that we will give up.

I raised the issue via Twitter and answered several questions raised by their customer service agent during the day. Finally, I was advised that they needed to escalate the issue and that somebody would come back to me. That was 14th Feb and I'm still waiting. Two subsequents requests via Twitter to be advised of their formal complaints procedure have been ignored.

Having been a Norton user for 15 years, I expected better. I have now obtained the email addresses of a couple of Norton execs and the executive escalations team, so I will be contacting them directly.

All I can do is escalate the issue. And I have added your post to the escalation.

Exactly the same with me, genuine offer, genuine email but Norton support on chat and Twitter have suggested that I'm lying so I sent them the confirmation email and then they tried saying the email was only for new subscribers. You can't offer me something to sign up then not follow through on the offer! Someone needs to sort this asap. My next steps are to raise this with UK trading standards, consumer rights and BBCs watchdog! I wonder if Amazon knows Norton is using their name to sell products but not upholding those offers?

Kyoketshu

I have escalated your post to join the others.

After getting on their chat support a couple of times I finally received a phone call and they offered me a $25 credit on the card I used to pay for Norton. I accepted that. Still a very poor way to treat customers.

That reminds me, I need to check and see if they did issue the credit!

Good luck.

I need to throw my hat into this as well. I purchased and renewed NortonLifeLock on Sept. 8th, 2020 and received the email for the Free Amazon Gift Card on Sept. 16th, 2020. I have both emails which I can forward if needed. I, too, did not receive the gift card. On Jan 10th I replied to the email on the 16th inquiring about it, but have not received a reply.

Over the years, I've trusted and using several Norton products and am surprised about this happening.

Thank you.

Many thanks peterweb. Much appreciated.

AndyJW:

Thanks spoteet. I am happy to pursue directly, but I suspect that I'll experience the same outcome with customer services.

Hopefully, peterweb will be successful in his escalation.

I have escalated your post as well.

As you can see above, they said they would escalate the issue, but have not heard anything.

I tried the chat on the Norton support page. Gave the person detailed info on everything. He replied that he talked to a supervisor and he said they would contact me in a day or two to resolve the problem.

As expected, they have not contacted me.

Wish I could tell you more, but I think they are just ignoring this problem.

Hi. I have the same issue, having purchased Norton 360 Premium on 10th Sept 20 with an email confirmation of the £15 Amazon voucher eligibility benig received on the 16th.

Is there an update on this issue please or should I try and contact Norton customer services?

Many thanks.

Thank you very much, I really appreciate it.

Thanks for the help.

I'll escalate your issue. Others have also had trouble with this gift card promotion.

Purchased product on 9/9/2020, received email concerning Amazon gift card on 9/16/2020. The email was from norton@secure.norton.com.

And did you purchase or renew your product at the time you received the original email?
