Did you try restoring the gadget with my instruction in page 1? Maybe you uninstalled the gadget by mistake?
Kichez, are your gadgets enabled in Windows?
To enable them, goto 'Programs and Features' in Control Panel. In the upper left hand corner you'll see 'Turn Windows features on and off ', click on that item. Your admin password may be asked for.
In the next window which will show make sure to check the 'Windows Gadget Platform' : if it isn't checked no gadgets are displayed and no gadgets can be added;
Next, close all open windows, right click your desktop and select 'Gadgets'.
