Getting error when installing Norton Family

Issue abstract:

Detailed description: I am trying to install Norton Family on my laptop which has Windows 10 and Norton 360 Deluxe installed on it. I get an error saying my Norton needs to be updated to the newest version. I have already removed and reinstalled Norton so it should be at the newest version. How do I get around this error?

Thanks for the information. I started following your steps. I have Deluxe version 25.1.9816. I downloaded the NF installer from the NF dashboard and it is version 5.37.0.1. When I ran the installer I still get the same error message. “Norton Family will not function properly on your current version of Norton. You need to update Norton to the latest version.”

I’ve also been unable to install it, but in my case I don’t have Norton360. Is that necessary?

You do not need to have Norton 360. But you will have to purchase a Norton Family subscription. Norton Family | Parental Control Software for iPhone, Android, & Windows

Same issue - when running Exe downloaded from Norton account, error window pop out : " There was as issue that occurred, requiring your attention Norton Family application will not correctly work alongside with the version of Norton product that is currently installed in the PC. If you want to use Norton family, you will have to update to newes version " I’m having this message , even if there is no other Norton product installed on the PC. All previous Norton Installations are removed , even from Program Data. Please advise
