I’m trying to install a VPN on my latest generation Apple TV, with the latest available update. When it tries to sync, the Norton VPN app fails to authenticate. What could be the problem?

@felisberto Firstly, ensure that you have the correct subscription for your VPN. You’d need the standalone version of the VPN and its subscription. The N360 subscription will not activate for you in the event you are using that. Is it that the QR code is failing? More info in the links below for you.

Hello! Thank you very much for the initial help. I have the N360 Deluxe subscription and the VPN is included. It works on my and my wife’s iPhones, as well as on the iPad. I’m only having this problem with the Apple TV box.
As stated earlier, you cannot activate the VPN on Apple TV with the product key from your Norton 360 subscription. You must purchase a standalone VPN from Norton, download, and install it, it will activate using the product key from that subscription.

Your Norton 360 subscription cannot be used to install Norton VPN on your Smart TV. You need to have Norton VPN Standard with multi-device subscription, or Norton VPN Plus or Norton VPN Ultimate subscription to install Norton VPN on your Smart TV.
