Installed Norton 360 on new ASUS Rog Strix gaming computer using a 1080P monitor. After setting up everything that I needed and applying updates, I moved to a 75" 4K TV as a monitor. By default, the Windows 11 Display scaled the Desktop 300%, but I changed it to 250%. Bring up Norton is totally unusable due to the app being scaled way too much and only displaying a upper left corner of the UI. I had to go back to 100% scaling to exit the app, but all icons are too small to be usable at this scale. Ended up removing Norton 360 and installing an early version of Norton 360 LifeLock. This worked correctly. Will not upgrade to the latest Norton 360 until all the issues are worked out. The new version needs MUCH more testing before release.
Hello Eric. What video adapter is installed on the computer your are using? That may be the crux of the underlying issue, as long as I have used Norton products they have never supported higher than 1080p resolution. Others are also reporting 4K scaling issues too.
Have you give this a try on the PC? Error: "Your Screen Resolution is set too low to correctly display this application..."
Change your screen resolution
- Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
- Type in the following text, and then press Enter.desk.cpl
- From the Resolution drop-down list, select 1024 x 768 pixels or higher.
- Click Keep changes or click Apply, and then click OK.
- Click Apply, and then click OK.

This is a Gaming Computer that I run games at 4K, so changing the resolution to 1024X768 on my 75 inch TV is not a solution.
Norton doesn’t support 4k resolution. The best way to get Norton to possibly address adding the feature would be to post this in the Products Suggestions board.

The previous version of Norton 360 LifeLock worked fine at 4K and had no issues. I’m using an RTX 4070 Super with at 75" 4K Samsung TV.
The issue, from my side of this seems to be moving to a 75" display. As I understand things you had no issues before that. Have you consulted with the OEM of your TV for a possible solution? I will be firing up a new gaming PC over the weekend with an RTX 3060, its 4K supported. I will try to force it to display on my 65" Visio and see what results I get and compare with you. I’ve been meaning to do this as a test, time hasn’t allowed that thus far. Thanks for your patience.

I believe the issue was moving from the initial 1920X1080 display to the 4K display that caused the problem with the new Norton. If Norton is installed on a 4K display originally, it may not be a problem. I just removed and installed an earlier function version. It has now updated to the new version, and it is not a problem.
Thanks for the post back. Good new indeed.

Isn’t it amazing and infuriating how Norton (and similar) don’t deign to reply. They just assume we will be too lazy to switch to another service. (And too often they are right, which is why it happens in the first place.)
Anyway, you can get a handy little app called AutoSizer — free and no ads, no strings, from South Bay Software — that lets you override the rigid Norton size restraint. I’ve set mine to 600px wide, centered on the screen. Problem solved, free and no hoops to jump through.
Your Windows display settings override defaults which Norton natively doesn’t support.
