Komplettes Laufwerk/Laufwerksbiuchstaben aus Scan ausschließen -.how exclude a complete drive

Danke.

Hello, since the update I can no longer find a way to exclude a complete drive or its drive letter from the scans. The problem is that every time I connect my external card reader via USB, 6 or 7 drive letters open (the card reader can accommodate several types of cards). And Norton wants to scan them all, even though they are empty. I then get tons of pop-ups on the right-hand side of the screen. I can only exclude files/folders. So where can I find a way to exclude a complete drive from the scans? Thanks.

Norton 360 v22 or v24?

fwiw ~ for example: v24

Add (exclude) internal data drive (D:)

Caveat: I have Preset scans > Smart | Quick | Full = Run manually

Select Pass, dosn’t work. I only can select a Folder or a File

I don’t know my Norton version. What do you mean with… fwiw ~ for example: v24?

Thanks…your posted screenshot says your v24
I meant with my v24
Maybe, you were v22
Now, we know your v24
Thanks
Note: version is found at Settings > About

Oh!?..okay…I do see red x against Y & Z?
Are Y & Z internal?
Are Y & Z external card reader?
Google translate highlight [here]

Can you select Y &or Z box?
Can you select D/E/F is you wanted?

No at all. This here is my Problem:

The problem is that every time I connect my external card reader via USB, 6 or 7 drive letters open (the card reader can accommodate several types of cards). And Norton wants to scan them all, even though they are empty. I then get tons of pop-ups on the right-hand side of the screen.

So, Y & Z are external card reader?

when I plug in an External drive.
I see popup = Scan for threats
&
Don’t offer to scan external devices

I scaned them for many times. But alway I get this here

I can not see “Don’t offer”. Because I have a 4k Monitor. Please look at mye picture

Ahh!
Sorry, I don’t have external card reader nor 4k monitor.
Sorry, I’m on an entry level laptop.

bjm Where can I find it? Sorry, but all is new by Norton.

Yeah, I don’t know whether Scan auto-run items when removable media is attached toggle off will help your scenario.
Settings gear > Features tab > Antivirus > Real-Time Protection

bjm I have found it. thx. But it doesn’t help.

Yeah, maybe… Norton sees “removable media” as CD/DVD?

Ya’ think it’s 4k monitor. I mean if you were able to see Don’t offer to scan external devices…would that help?

But my mainquestion is still …So where can I find a way to exclude a complete drive from the scans? Thanks.

I will look for another resolution

Did you try adding one at a time?
I can Add (exclude) D data, E optical drive or F USB
