New Norton 360 version problems with internet connectivity

Issue abstract: Several features of the new N360 app display apparent problems with internet connectivity even though there is a working internet connection.

Detailed description: Live update indicates “unable to connect to live update” and won’t run manually even though it appears to be updating automatically.

Smart scan runs viruses and malware and network sections successfully but advanced issues displays “you need to be online for us to show you any advanced issues we found”

Software updater indicates “you’re offline” and won’t download updates.

This problem with the new app is really annoying. I hope someone can help.

Product & version number: Norton 360 with Lifelock Ultimate Plus. This is the new version of N360 just installed in the past week or so. Can’t find version number.

Thanks for the tip on finding version info. I needed to scroll over because the about tab wasn’t visible.

My program version is 24.12.9725 Build 24.12.9725.897

Your v24 sounds like it’s not working.
Norton Community is primarily user-to-user (working) product help.
Norton Community can try knocking on Norton’s door.
When no response. We can trying knocking, again.
When no response. May be best to open support ticket - document issue - offer to send debug logs.
