when i click on more info all i get is a web page to make sure automatic and pulse udates are on. They are. Numerous manual live updates produce same result.
Yep, I had the same problem tonight on my laptop that's still on version 20.2.1.22. My two Desktop computers are on version 20.3.0.36 and aren't haveing that problem.
Well, I let a norton technician log on to my computer to fix the issue. and he commenced to run the Norton power Eraser which found no problems. Then he put my computer in SAFE mode, got into regedit and deleted stuff which he said uninstalled NIS 2013. he ran the NRT which didnt finish. and then tried to download NIS 13 in safe mode after I had to connect to the internet because he coudn't connect to my computer. while slowly downloading NIS 2013 I lost connection with him and after 1/2 hour I quit the session. NOW I am trying to run the NRT and downloading NIS 2013 myself and installing. I will be calling symantec in the morning! I hope he didnt screw up the regedit. Why do I even let those techs touch my computer????
I'm having the same problem (Comcast NIS) nothing updates. Uninstall with Norton Uninstall Tool, Re-install NIS, same problem unable to update. Went from 20.2 back to 20.1 (never recieved the 20.3 update). What's going on?
Same here myself wont update on my NIS 2013 the NIS Engine everytime try the live update just keeps saying Failed on it. Hope you can Fix this problem for us.
The same here. I use Norton on 3 machines and it works on the other two but on this macH
