Since Norton 360 deluxe was automatically updated from Norton to an Avast software I’ve had nothing but trouble setting it up again. Like on exclusion, need detailed info. I’m pretty upset about the changed software and especially the lack of proper documentation of the software. Seems to me there should at least be a downloadable v25 manual, or an easy to find online v25 manual.
I’ve used Norton products for decades, but now I’ve decided to end my auto subscription for Norton 360 and search for a better product that at least has detailed instructions on its use.

@Stephen_D_Sanford The announcement is the only official posting here in the forums regarding the latest version. To my knowledge there isn’t any “official documentation” posted to website for these latest revision. They are what I personally deem as “BETA”, so many issues and changes that documentation for it would be futile to keep current. I agree, as many others around the forums do as well. There should be some basic setup information for consumers. That has been presented to Norton on the part of we Gurus and more than once. This is the only file I can fetch but it is for their older 22.22 releases.

Its sad reading almost daily users are abandoning Norton for the simplest issues. I hope, that turns around at a point that is, sooner, than later for Norton. I have removed version 25.xx from all but one device and reverted to version 22.24.8.36 and remaining there until these latest releases are user compatible and stop be intrusive.

Thanks for your reply - documentation and manuals are as i thought. So how does one remove 25 and get back to 22.24.8.36? Is there Norton uninstall programs or do I use Revo Uninstall. Is there a download location for 22? I assume once 22 is reinstalled the update option is left off. Thanks again.
