Detailed description: I would like to be able to review and control firewall definitions. Is it possible to create a report of these definitions or extract them in some way - to load into Excel for example? Thanks.
Product & version number: Norton 360 Platinum v22.24.8.36
OS: Windows 10 v22H2
Hello Anthony. Unfortunately we can only export the data within history. Norton doesn’t offer the ability to self determine which updates are applied with automatic or manual updates.

I would like to be able to extract/download information or directly print a report for the Firewall showing data such as:
- Aplication Name
- Program location - for example: C:\Program Files\Abcd\xxxxx
- Access granted - Permitted, Blocked, etv
- etc.
Thank you for the reply but you have not understood my request.
Indeed I do understand your question.
I would like to be able to review and control firewall definitions. Is it possible to create a report of these definitions or extract them in some way - to load into Excel for example? Thanks.
In Norton history, under the firewall section for example, it is possible to review and export the results in that category. For definitions its the same in that category. There is NO WAY to control any definitions IE: decide which ones are installed and keep others from installing. The file when exported will be in mcf format as security history log files. I am not aware of a way to to convert them into an Excel spreadsheet.

Thank you for the reply.
I do not wish to control any definitions regarding whether they are installed or not.
I would like to be able to easily review the definitions for installed programs that I myself have added to the firewall permissions.
If it is not too much to ask, could you please indicate the steps you have described that are required to access the Firewall section in History and review or export information?
I would repeat, however, that I am not asking for the firewall activity in the last 5 minutes or last 24 hours but rather the standing definitions of the traffic permitted by the firewall and what is not.
Prior to the recent revamp of Norton 360, the firewall definitions could be reviewed on screen in blocks of 4 programs at a time showing the information that I wish to see: program name, program location and access granted or not.
This was not as convenient to review as a report of all firewall definitions but was at least possible without having to click twice on each line of the firewall definitions in order to review the details.
Unfortunately, I no longer use the 24.xx version and have reverted back to version 22.24.8.36 until the issues with the new version are ironed out. Therefore I don’t have screenshots of the current version to post for you to follow. Guru @bjm may have screenshots to share.

Thanks for the reply.
Is there a post on how to roll back to version 22?
If practical, I would try this on one of my machines.
Yes here is how to revert and what to do to stay on that version:
