That's not what I paid for. This is a joke , when I told the tech that all he did was install an earlier version he denied it ! Im not blind but it must be that they are !
I have always loved all the Norton products and recommended them to everyone , but this has just been a nightmare ! I will no longer recommend them !

When you first installed did you enter the activation KEY that should come printed on a card or on the envelope for the disk when you buy a retail package or by email if you buy from Norton OnLine. If you did not receive an email check your SPAM / Junk folder in case it is there.
First try clicking on Support / Subscription Status and see if that synchronizes your installation.
If this does not work can you give us some more information about your purchase -- who from and so on.
If you can please post in English.

Did you have a security product installed before installing 360? If so, what was it and how did you remove it? Have you used the Norton Remove and Reinstall Tool to be sure you have a clean copy on your system?

What operating system and service pack are you using?
If Windows is saying the driver is out of date, there may be something to that.. Check with Device manager to see if there is an update available. You should go to the web site for your video card to see if there is a newer version.
I am running windows Vista. Service Pack 2
If I uninstall norton 360, my computer will restart and shut down properly. I reinstall it (I used norton removal tool as well) and my system does not shut down or restart with out getting the blue screen of death. It states PROCESS HAS LOCKED PAGES. Why with norton 360 preium running does it not shut down or restart properly? When I upgrad from the previous version of norton 360 to this version, all these proplems occured. Please help. here is the information i keep getting.

You did not answer Dick's question about previous security software. What did you have installed before N360, and how did you remove it?
If you had or have another AV software on your system it will conflict with Norton and could be causing your crashes.
What version of N360 are you using? Support - About.
I had Norton 360 and did the upgrade via live update off of the norton site
I also uninstalled it and used norton removal tool and then my computer restarted and shut down properly until i reinstalled Norton 360 via download off of my norton account.

I am really loosing all faith in Norton 360 Everytime I shut down or restart I get the blue screen of death and it tells me PROCESS HAS LOCKED PAGES I have uninstalled Norton 360 used the Norton removal tool and restared and shut down several times and my computer works just fine. Do the BSODs still reference the Display Driver?
Can you try going into Device Manager and looking at your display device. From the properties page, click on the Drivers tab. See if you can roll back the driver to an earlier version?
The driver is from Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. dated 7/3/2012 I installed Norton 360 at the end of November. I cannot roll the driver back as the button is greyed out. It says the device is working properly.
What video card do you have?
First uninstall your video driver, then reboot your computer. Let windows find the video card. Sometimes windows updates are not compatible with all drivers. It is easy to blame n360, but in my experience it is usually a different reason. Did you try system restore? Did you run a reg cleaner? Sometimes reg cleaners will blow out parts of drivers.

despite the fact that they are old, anyway they are very good and i think they are better then v5 and maybe v6 and v20 2013
I know that Symantec may not continue support them but i hope they are will be support. They are definitly faster and lighter then newer versions. :). I asking for support those versions becuase protection capabilities for me is not so important as for others, i even without any antivirus protection feel comfortable but want have Norton 360 installed for the just in case. Those versions are very light, lighter then another Norton products and i like them for this because my PC not so modern and powerful. :)).
My PC work with v3 & v4 better then with newer versions (unfortunatly)
