I HAVE BEEN USING NORTON FOR SOME YEARS NOW AND IT HAS BEEN PROVING USEFUL TO ME, BUT I HAVE NOT TRIED NORTON 360. BUT WITH WHAT I KNOW ABOUT THEM, I THINK ITS THE BEST NORTON PRODUCT SO FAR AND AM STRIVING TO HAVE IT, TO HAVE FULL PROTECTION ON MY COMPUTER..........LOL
despite the fact that they are old, anyway they are very good and i think they are better then v5 and maybe v6 and v20 2013
I know that Symantec may not continue support them but i hope they are will be support. They are definitly faster and lighter then newer versions. :). I asking for support those versions becuase protection capabilities for me is not so important as for others, i even without any antivirus protection feel comfortable but want have Norton 360 installed for the just in case. Those versions are very light, lighter then another Norton products and i like them for this because my PC not so modern and powerful. :)).
My PC work with v3 & v4 better then with newer versions (unfortunatly)
Have you tried the newer versions to determine this speed difference, or are you gion by what others have reported?
I cannot speak for Symantec, but it would not be surprising for a company to drop support for a product that is 4 versions behind the current product. A company has only so many resources, and they need to support the current product and get ready for the next.
i'm not looking new features, if came out the new version it dosn't mean she's better, for now N360 v6 better then N360 2013 v20 - but 2013 will be better but not earlier than in April (when they fix all bugs-errors)
I can say that I have just upgraded to v20 on two PC's and find it works great. A few issues I had when this version was released seem to of been sorted, so I will recommend to those waiting for a fix to give v20 a go now.
