Today I've noticed that Norton Autofix found an issue with my internet connectivity and says it failed to fix it. The thing is, my internet connection is fine; I haven't noticed any issues with loading sites on Firefox.
I'm a bit concerned there's something wrong, but I'm not sure what it is or what even needs to be fixed so that this goes away. Didn't see any threads on this topic, so I figured I'd ask here.
I'd rather not resort to remote access and running reinstall because it makes me uncomfortable and I doubt that'll fix my problem. I'll have to assume this is an issue with no known cause or fix.

So is there a fix for this? Or is it something I shouldn't be worried about?
I'd rather not do a reinstall as I've had issues in the past with uninstalling Norton resulting in a lock of my files/removing my computer admin permissions for my programs.
How do you feel now about reaching out to Norton support...since, you've tried DIY?
Support will probably request remote access & run N360 reinstall.
Maybe, Internet Connectivity :: Failed ... is known cosmetic issue re W7SP1?
Maybe, Internet Connectivity :: Failed ... is related to your Diagnostic Report !

Just a thought everyone. Is there another A/V solution / tool installed on the system that is affected? Zemana AntiLogger which can be misinterpreted as what the OP is seeing.
I'm in the US, and I used Japan regularly but it won't connect to it anymore now. I can connect to every other region but not the Japan one.
I ran sfc/scannow and nothing came up, everything's working fine. It's weird that it's nothing to worry about since I didn't have this issue before until recently, and I don't know if it's affecting Autofix or prevents it from repairing anything.
What region are you in, and what region do you try to use regularly?
Looking again at your diagnostic report, the missing hardware is AntiLog32. A search on this item gave me this Microsoft Answers item. It is from 2012, but the information is still valid. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/what-is-antilog32-and-is-it-safe/c96fd2c4-b4d1-4331-b6fa-1693a9fe3718 Looking at the second page, gives suggestions that as long as your system is working well, this is nothing to worry about.
On page one of that article, it also suggests running a SFC/scannow scan. That may be able to find what is causing Norton to report the internet issue. Instructions are in that post on how to run that scan.
There aren't any red Xs or yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager. If anything, I did notice that on Norton VPN I can't connect if my region is set to Japan.
When Device Manager opens are there any red 'X's or yellow exclamation marks? if so that would be the first place to look for drivers that may be giving issues with Norton reporting your internet issue.
Here is a short tutorial video from Microsoft on using Device Manager. You may have to be patient. I had to wait about 30 seconds for the video to load. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/shows/inside/device-manager
If you mean what internet I have, it's WiFi.

Yeah, I meant are you connected to the internet via Wired (cable) or WiFi (wireless).
Can you try wired?

Sorry...I was hoping your Device Manager was clue since Diagnostic Report points to Device Manager.
regarding AntiLog32
I uninstalled antilog32 because norton said it wasn't running right. Now I have no Plug and Play under Device Manager.
I don't know what to remove under 'Installed Programs' since it doesn't tell me what I don't need and I doubt that's tied to this issue.
Clicking on 'Fix Now' for Inoperable Hardware Devices just brings up Device Manager and I'm not tech savvy enough to know where to go to find and fix whatever its pointing to.
I've reviewed everything under the support link you provided: network cable is connected, wireless settings are correct, network adapter is correctly configured, my modem is connected, and I have no parental controls enabled. Changing Network Cost Awareness didn't fix this. I edited the firewall settings in Norton but it did nothing. I have enough disk space, my computer's date and time is correct, and changing the 'apply updates only on reboot' option didn't fix this either.
I'd rather not do a reinstall as I've had issues in the past with uninstalling Norton resulting in a lock of my files/removing my computer admin permissions for my programs.
wondering whether ... Internet Connectivity :: Failed ... is cosmetic issue re W7SP1
Yeah...by the script probably says - reinstall Norton...but, it's been awhile since I've touched W7SP1
How do you feel about clean reinstall Norton? > fwiw ~ my clean install [here]

Sorry, I'm not remembering what I did if/when.
I'd probably do Norton clean reinstall. I'm used to my clean install.
I'd probably, first, try to resolve Diagnostic Report - orange. btw ~ Did you check your Device Manager for any hiccups?
I flushed my DNS + restarted my router and modem, didn't work. I checked to see if I was accessing my network through a proxy, I didn't have one set up and I'm still getting the issue.
