Norton blocks pages in Google Chrome browser

Hi,
I’m having an unusual problem. After installing Norton 360 for Gamers, after a while, the app starts blocking most websites, such as Kick, Twitch, Facebook, and Discord, in my Google Chrome browser. This prevents them from loading. I have enabled “allow” for the entire Chrome app and disabled the VPN. I should add that after uninstalling Norton 360 using the dedicated Norton Remover app, everything returns to normal. After reinstalling Norton 360FG, everything works fine for a while, but after a few hours, the problem described above returns. Program Norton up to date.

Try clearing your browser’s temporary files and cache to see if that resolves the issue.

Do you have the Safe Web browser extension enabled?

I wrote above that I don’t have any plugins in Chrome
I think I’ve tried everything, I’ve been struggling with this for 3 days now, and I can’t find the culprit

btw After uninstalling N360, the browser and websites work lightning fast

I forgot to add, it’s the same in the Edge browser

@piotrmur You haven’t stated whether your NFG install is the latest version and build. Please check and let us know. The current version / build is 26.1.10738 (build 26.1.10738.964).

Additionally, are there entries in your Norton history stating that Norton has blocked websites? Or specifically, looking in this area are there entries there as well?
