I have Norton 360 & I want to buy Norton Privacy Monitor. When I click buy now
it says $8.33/month but at the bottom its says, "Billed $99.99/year" in small letters
So which one is it?
Yeah, that's crazy, I'm glad that I asked about it before getting it!!!! lol
I do not think there are two separate plans.
The cost is $99.99 for one year and Norton is saying this averages out to $8.33 per month. The wording is a little bit deceiving.
Do I have to do the $99.99/year plan? Can I just do $8.33/month?
The price is the same. It is just that Norton wants to take out one year's payment in one chunk, rather than every month.
The scan is run every 3 months so you have to wait until they do run for the first time and then your results will be available by logging in to your account and clicking on Privacy panel. The results will not change until the next scan is completed.

Should I assume they will detect my cell phone number associated with someone else's name in a different city? My cell phone number is entered as something to be monitored.
Sorry, I'm not privy to what criteria - what sources are used.

Thanks, so, to clarify I have Norton Privacy Monitor and a scan was done in October and the next scan is being done end of this month. Should I assume they will detect my cell phone number associated with someone else's name in a different city? My cell phone number is entered as something to be monitored.
