Detailed description: Norton Private Browser is showing a blue button at top right, indicating that an update is available. However, when I click on it to update, I get a notice reading, “Can’t update Norton Private Browser.” The only suggestion it offers is to reinstall the browser.
However, when I went to the About page for the browser to report the exact version number below, it offered to update!
Glad this happened, but it shouldn’t be necessary to drill down into Settings → About to install an update. This involves extra effort and, more importantly, it’s completely unintuitive and surprising.
Product & version number: Norton Private Browser, version 131.0.27894.265 (before updating; now at 132.0.28457.198)
OS details: Windows 10 22H2
