I am using the latest version of Norton 360 on Windows 10.
When searching on Google, Norton Safe Web used to show an icon beside the links provided by the search to indicate where the site is safe to visit or not. I don’t know if this is by design or it’s a bug, but this isn’t working now.
I have tested this on the latest version of Chrome, Edge and Firefox, and the icons no longer appear beside search result links.
Bad move, in my opinion. Yet another downgrade for users.
For those of us who don’t want to (and in my case, won’t) use Norton Safe Search, we’re only getting informed of a site’s safe rating from Norton Safe Web when we actually visit it. Of course, it might be too late by then and damage could be done.

I am aware of Web Shield, but the peace of mind I get from visual indicators rather that workings under the hood makes me feel more relaxed about visiting unfamiliar sites.
