Has this thread been given a resolution?
I have just had my third pop-up advising me there are 6 outdated drivers on my PC and I should add Norton Driver Updater for ÂŁ41.79.
This pop-up on boot-up was 7th March. I have had Norton Driver Updater for about 18 months.
The last scan was 1st March after the last pop-up. My paid for version of Driver Updater is clear that there are no outdated drivers.
How can I stop these redundant, wrong, pop-ups from Norton?
Thank you for the reply and yes I do have Mute Special Offers toggled. I have not used Mute all notifications temporarily.
However why would I get a notification telling me I have 6 drivers to update when the product which I already have tells me there are no drivers to update. Which is correct please?
I feel all Norton marketing should be confined to Norton Store.
I can visit Norton Store, anytime I want.
I do not want Norton Store visiting me, anytime Norton wants.
With all their scammy ads I’m wondering how anyone can trust anything Norton tell customers?
I switched to Bitdefender on my main machine a few weeks ago and its been great. In fact its quite boring compared to Norton as it just sits there and does its thing quietly without spamming me with ads every time I open it.
