Every time I boot I get the norton startup window open on my desktop. I don’t want to stop norton from starting but I do want it to start minimized. Anyone tell me how to do this? Thanks
Have you tried going into Windows settings/ apps /startup and clicking Norton AV launch to “off” ?
With out doing anything it has resolved itself.
The bug causing the Norton window to open automatically has been present since version 26.6.
It occurs frequently and not always immediately after PC startup.
There are also days when it doesn’t occur.
Whether focus is stolen is unclear, but it’s very annoying.

OS startup settings are irrelevant.
Norton must run in the background to maintain security.
The Norton window opening automatically is problematic.
Developers should immediately investigate and fix this bug.
Version 26.5 was stable and the focus-stealing bug was eliminated.

Hello, I got the same problem. Since version 26.6 the start site opens itself after operating system startup. This happens regularly now and never before. OS is Windows 11 26200.8894. Norton 360 version is 26.6.11052, everything up to date. Deactivating AvLaunch.exe from auto startup e.g. is not possible due to norton prohibiting it. Since there is no option to deactivate this behaviour in the norton 360 application you should fix this in an upcoming update. Thanks and best regards.
