Norton up sell overkill

Is anyone else sick and tired of Norton always trying to up sell? I have 360 Lifelock installed. I've used Norton off and on for years. I have had it with them always trying to sell me something else. I have Privacy Monitor. Fine. Lately when I display Norton from my taskbar there's a notice at the bottom saying 12 sites have my private into etc. and it is basically trying to sell me 'Privacy monitor assistant'. Seriously??? It's gotten more ridiculous. This is really making me look for alternatives for security. End of rant.

Agreed! I just got a Norton popup warning me that Bing had implanted a tracking cookie, but I use Firefox and DuckDuckGo exclusively and Edge wasn't running. SO I BELIEVE THIS WAS A BOGUS WARNING to get me to click on "Remove" which opened an ad to sell me more protection. This is not the Norton utilities I've used since the 1990s but a SCAREWARE UPSELL GIMMICK. If Norton doesn't quickly change I'll be moving on.

The ONLY real way to stop marketing popups from appearing is not using Norton at all. (credit)
