Newest update as of 10/17/25 is installing some sort of antivirus and disabling my windows defender. I did not purchase the Norton Antivirus nor would i ever as its just bloatware to slow down your system. Only way ive been able to fix it is completely uninstall Norton with its uninstaller tool and use the same installer i have from 2020 that installs the older version and disable updates.
If this does not get fixed I recommend everyone steer away from Norton until they stop pushing horrid “extra features” onto you without permission.

I see. That’s unfortunate. Guess I’ll have to unsubscribe from it for personal and business use. Real bummer.
Also, in that link you copied the antivirus is not stated anywhere to be “included” in the VPN service. Might need to check with the website devs for that one.
I should have taken a screenshot yesterday. I could swear that it noted malware protection for all subscription levels. The current page shows “Get AI-powered scam detection and real-time protection against malware and ransomware.” for the Plus and Ultimate versions.
I went to the US site for the information and images I use here. I did not go beyond that to show the VPP, but it is there on the US site for the two higher level VPN subscriptions.
Microsoft is the problem and Norton do this to help Microsoft whit non original software and install the antivirus and do not ask for permission to install antivirus in you computer if am right im paid for vpn to protect my privacy no to spy on me or my computer
