If uTorrent is not running the VPN works fine. If I launch uTorrent the VPN crashes. If I try to connect while uTorrent is still running, the VPN will refuse to connect. If I close uTorrent again, the VPN will subsequently regain its ability to connect. I can attach a video example of this behavior if requested.
This is especially infuriating when this is the sole purpose for my paying for the use of this VPN.
Now some of the links above mention changing the VPN region to Torrent friendly. I could not find that setting in either the 360 VPN, or the standalone Norton Secure VPN. Maybe is is only available in certain countries????
no worries, I appreciate your attempt to help. The problem is that I DO want to use a torrent program, and from what it seems from the rest of the links you've offered is that they are examples of when people are NOT trying to use torrents and Norton is falsely detecting one and then failing to operate its VPN.
What's troubling to me about this is that it appears to convey a theme that Norton refuses to operate while torrent programs are running. Are you aware of any official documentation about this anywhere? I have seen no settings about this being a feature I can turn on or off.
