Wanted to ask the community if anyone has found better options to what Norton is offering. This whole issue of ‘deleting’ the delete function from the Cloud Back-up service is driving me nuts. It feels like another big-brother attempt to just make more money of the users by forcing them to purchase more cloud space or to quit backing up new data. Getting really pissed off and ready to try an alternative.

Maybe, think of Norton Cloud Backup as supplement to your primary/secondary backup solutions.
The 3-2-1 Backup Rule
- You should have three copies of your data at all times — one original, and two backups.
- Both backups should be on different storage mediums.
- One backup should be stored offsite.
Norton Cloud Backup feature within Norton 360, is not a full system image backup.
Norton Cloud Backup functions as a file and folder backup, allowing you to selectively choose which specific files and folders to back up to the cloud, rather than capturing an entire snapshot of your entire system like a traditional system image backup would do.
Norton Cloud Backup lets you pick which files and folders to back up, giving you more control over what data is stored in the cloud.
While you can restore individual files from a Norton backup, you cannot use it to completely restore your entire operating system to a previous state like a system image backup would allow.
