On one of my computers, the Remote Management button in Settings -> Administrative Settings is off and grayed out so I can't turn it on. On the other computer it is fine. Any idea on how to fix this?
I found This thread concerning Norton Security, and followed some suggestions. Here are some steps I took and the results:
* Restarting the PC didn't help.
* LiveUpdate showed no updates required.
* The Windows "Allow remote connections to this computer" setting is enabled on the computer with the problem, while on another computer where this is disabled, I can turn Remote Management on or off at will.
* The Windows "Allow Remote Assistance connections to this computer" setting is enabled on both PCs.
The product is Norton 360 Premier 22.5.2.15.
The operating system is Windows 10 Professional 64 bit fully up to date.'
The other computer where the Remote Management button is working has the same version of Windows 10 and Norton Internet Security.
There is one other difference. On the computer where the Remote Management button is grayed out, If I go to Help -> About, it says that the Device Name is not available.
