Restore Files from a Backup on a external Drive

Hello Community,

I want to restore files from a Norton backup.
This backup is located on an external hard disc.
The backup was created automatically by Norton a couple of days ago.

In the new Norton App I cannot find any possibility to restore files from a back up which is on an external hard disc. The new Norton calls everytime for Cloud backup.

All articles in the support function about restoring from an external hard disc refer obviously to the old look and feel of the Norton App and are useless for the new version.

Does anybody knows a way of doing it under the new version?

many thanks for your quick answer.

I found both mentioned files in the root directory of the external drive. Obviously they were created there by Norton automatically.

By clicking on Arestore.exe it gives me choices of restoring files or folders. So it works!

Nevertheless it is hard to understand that the new Norton App does not provide itself a possiplity to restore from a backup that was created just a couple of days ago.
