Everyone: Having not posted in the thread for a while, thought I would post the announcement for the last posted release so everyone can take note of what has supposedly been added/corrected.
On a side note. Not having version 24.xx on any of my machines the thought occurred to take one of my new Windows 11 laptops with Norton on it and remove that version. It was gooned when the 24.xx release ripped my Norton account a new one with three different versions of Norton installed across all my devices. Things are well again since reverting but I cannot definitively assist with things not having 24.xx on at least one machine. I will install it on the smaller Win 11 laptop tomorrow and hope my account stays the way it presently is. I can therefore offer better assistance and in the event the install of 24.xx causes issues, resetting the laptop wonât cause headaches.
Not sure itâs on this gargantuan list of suggestions, but one suggestion would be the ability to save all settings to a backup file. From what Iâve seen (perhaps from a post by _bjm IIRC), Avast has such an option.
@CptCat I just came across your post so you may have found a solution to detect/remove tracking cookies. I run the free version of SuperAntiSpyware periodically but only on an âon demandâ basis since itâs an adjunct to N360 and Malwarebytes. I wouldnât depend on SAS (free) for comprehensive protection but itâs done a decent job finding and deleting tracking cookies that Norton didnât (that is, the previous version of N360 that was tooled to snag tracking cookies). Hereâs the link Download SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition
Even though I use this app, I suggest running the file you download at VirusTotal before installing it, just to error on the side of caution. VirusTotal

HI EVERYONE.
Does anybody have a clue as to how I might get my Identity tab back without re-installing? Iâm running latest V24.12.9725.903 (since Dec) @bjm@SoulAsylum
and youâre trialed Bitdefender?
Hey, sureâŠremove Norton and trial Bitdefender.
Youâre past 60 days since purchaseâŠso, no refundâŠyou lose nothing by removing Norton and trialing Bitdefender or even try Microsoft Defender a while before you install Bitdefender.
Iâve Reset to Default &or Repair Norton &or reinstall Norton so many timesâŠitâs routine for me.
Iâd do itâŠjust to see if itâll fix Identity tab. Just me.
I do wish Norton had export settings function.
Oh wellâŠmaybe, weâll get export setting with v25 and hopefully, Bitdefender will satisfy yaâ.
Regards w Respect
weâll leave the light on for yaâ
@bjm - I know you have, Iâve been following your posts and talked with you. Youâve uninstalled/re/installed because it ended up being a waste of time. V24 is crap, plain and simple, if it werenât, this thread wouldnât be one of the longest threads on the web. LOL
Sometimes unless youâre totally consumed, I feel you just have to walk away. Iâm walkin!. Thanks for all your help throughout the past couple of months. I really appreciate your wisdom and time. Cheers!
