Yes, I am having the same problem as well. Only the links in Ebay Motors are coming up as fradualent. I have no problem with the regular Ebay links. Thanks for any help

I have the same problem. It was OK this morning at 6:30 am CDT, but I can't get to it now - AND I HAVE THE HIGH BID!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110257567460&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:MOTORS:1123

One of my computers can access without problems, but the other one can't...

hi harleykidd - i have an ebay account there as well and haven't noticed any problem. where on the site were you (and we're you already logged on?) also, what Norton product and version do you have?

thx,

mel

Ditto to all.  Any eBay Motors page comes up as fraudulent, although can be bypassed by choosing to ignore.

Here is one link, although any item within eBay Motors will return the same fraud alert.

hi tallt - i have the same thing (one that says fradulant and one that does not) - i ran LiveUpdate on both and now the one that didn't report as fradulant is coming up positive.

i submitted the page to this site:

https://submit.symantec.com/antifraud/false_positive.cgi

Tony indicated in another unrelated thread that updates for anti-phishing can occur several times a day, so i'd recommend to continue running LiveUpdate every hour or so until it the site is clear.

I don't do eBay but I went to the links given in messages here without any warnings even if I clicked on links within the initial pages.

I'm using NIS2008 and updated it manually about an hour ago when two critical intrusion engine updates came down -- FWIW

Yes I was logged in and when trying to view any of the listed items in Ebay motors I got the same message. "Fraudulant Webs Page Blocked" Regular Ebay has no problem just in Ebay motors.

Here is one of the links that I was trying to open/view .

I have Norton Internet Security Version 10.1.0.26

OS is Vista Premium

I’m not clear on the solution.  I ran LiveUpdate just now and still get the same false posivite for a fraudulent page (only on eBay Motors).

Could you provide the specific URL that is causing this false positive? Thanks!

There is now a LiveUpdate solution available,
which will prevent the site from being flagged as a fraudulent website. Please run LiveUpdate and then visit the sites again. Let me know if this has resolved the problem for you all. Thanks!

Here is the link:

Same false positive for any eBay Motors page though.

Still no go when running LiveUpdate.

New twist, when visiting the site from the link within this forum, no fraud alert.  But when visiting the site from within eBay motors the fraud alert is still there.

That fits in with my experience on all the links in messages here ....

Disregard previous post.  Fraud alert comes up all the time.
