Turn OFF Content Filter and Transparent Proxy

Hi all,
How on Earth can I turn OFF once and for all Norton Content Filter and Transparent Proxy. This ruins everything. Disabling them works for about a minute before it turns them back on.
I have my own VPN and the Norton 360 ones mess up all my VMWare configurations because they think that IP addresses change all the time.
Please no “why do you want to turn them off?”. I want to.

Thanks for any help.
Steve

Hello sjordi. I’m not a MAC user but will do my best to assist in the lack of anyone that is a MAC user visiting the MAC boards these days. Hoping one of these articles will help you. Please advise your status with it, I will do my best to get someone who IS MAC oriented into the thread.

Thanks,
I already did this in the past but then Norton 360 keeps prompting to add the filters back to the Network options.
I’m going to see whether there is a way to make it shut its mouth about that
