I have an active Norton Small Business subscription. I have purchased an additional licence and wish to use this to setup Norton on a colleague's Windows 10 laptop. From within My Norton, it shows that I have 1 available licences. So far, so good.
I expect to be able to click the "Download" button and either (a) install Norton on my own machine, or (b) enter my colleague's email address in order than they can be emailed setup instructions. I am 99% sure this is how I have done it previously when adding new colleagues over the last year or so.
However, when I click the "Download" button, a "Norton Setup" window popup within the browser window appear for a few seconds with a spinner, then disappears taking me back to where I was previously. This has been the case for at least 3-4 days now. I have spoken with Norton over the phone, who confirmed what the Download button should do (i.e. allow me to send the invite by email), and said it must be a glitch in the system.
So how can I work around this an actually use the licence I have purchased?
I'll request to have your post moved to the Norton for Mac board, but the "Fix Now" problem you were experiencing is similar to the the issue being discussed in jwilenh's Norton Security 7.6 for MAC "Security at Risk" and "Fix Now". Unfortunately, that thread was inactive for 30 days and appears to have been automatically locked before a solution was posted.
In the mean time, see the Norton for Mac support article Download Norton on Your Device to see if you can download the installer from your Norton Account . If you purchased a retail version of Norton Security for Mac (i.e., rather than a free version supplied by your Internet Service Provider) then planet's post <here> also includes the generic link https://www.norton.com/latestnsmac for the latest full offline installer.
As peterweb noted <here>, you can also contact Norton Customer Support via Live Chat at https://www.norton.com/chat and ask them if your persistent "Fix Now" messages are a known issue (note: according to the Hot Issues and Fixes thread in the Norton for Mac board a similar problem was fixed in Norton Security for Mac v7.4 about a year ago). If you wish you can give the service rep permission to start a remote access session and they should be able to reinstall Norton on your system for you.

I have Norton Security for Mac and I cannot redownload to my Mac after I did an uninstall. It kept saying I needed a "fix" but then said it failed "try again later." Well, I tried that 5x and still no help. Where can I get a fresh download?
Make sure that the new license was entered into the same Norton Account. Did you perhaps use a different email address for the 2nd license? Did you get a receipt for the new one?
