Hello Everyone!
After removing the capability to perform a local back to a Network Drive when V24 came out in Sept 2024 and after multiple complaints and partial restoration of backup capabilities in releases after Sept 2024 and many frustrating interaction and obfuscation by Norton Support my system was updated to the version below in the last few moments.
The capability to perform a local back to a Network Drive has been restored as per the advice I got in February 2024 that
The ability to perform a local back to a Network Drive will be restored when Version 25.2 is rolled out.
Version 25.2 is expected to be available by the end of March 2025.
Now if I click on 
and then on
Click on Local backups Tab and you will see
Click on Create local backup and you will see
Click on the 
as indicated by the green arrow and I see that my Network drive is an option for a backup location.
FINALLY SOMTHING HAS BEEN RESTORED THAT SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN REMOVED!
