Hi. I have an android tvbox in which I’ve installed the VPN Fast &Secure from Google play store. This is confirmed by the option that apears “open” and the Google play store in my mobile phone which shows that it’s installed on the specific device. The problem is that when I try to open the app on the tvbox a window show up with a QR bar and the lines:
Scan code to pair Norton Vpn
1.Sigh in on your mobile device with your active Norton vpn subscription.
- Scan the QR code with your mobile device.
I do what it says but nothing changes…
Could please someone explain what I do wrong.
Many thanks
TG
It is not you. This has been going on for some time now. It is being discussed in this thread.

OK all. I may have a breakthrough on this issue of the QR code not activating the VPN app on a smart TV.
If you already had Norton 360 mobile installed on your device before installing Norton VPN app, if you check the About page in the VPN app, you may see the Product listed as Norton 360. This is what had me look into this. Looking in my Norton Account, the subscription pages confirmed that my iPhone was not activated against my VPN subscription.
What worked for me was to remove both 360 and VPN apps from my device. Restart the device and then install the VPN app first. Once activated, check the About page and it should now show the Product as Norton VPN. Now you can reinstall and activate your 360 app. Now go to your smart TV and try to activate the VPN app with the QR code. It did activate for me.
Please update here if this works for you so I can pass along the progress to my Norton contacts.
