Hello! I have a license of Norton 360 Premium. The product is excellent, but there is something that annoys me: Messages prompting me to install another Norton Products, like Driver Updater or Norton Utilities. Besides, in the Setup there is an option to prevent receiving this kind of messages, but it doesn´t work at all! Is there a way to avoid receiving these messages? I think it were OK if I would have a free version, but not in a paid version. Thank You!
Hello @Noel_Rojas
We’re all annoyed…
for example:
One of the solutions being presented to customers is to stop being a customer.
That’s funny. Norton doesn’t want my money?
what version do you has 22.x ore 24.x
Those suggestions are coming from forum members. Not any official Norton source.
Even still, the fact that they are the only solutions to this that people are seeing, on Norton’s official forums, does not help. If that weren’t a solution, why aren’t the real representatives of the company chiming in with the correct solution?
Norton is not coming to post because it is the marketing department that seems to be running Norton now.
@Noel_Rojas Please review the link to another thread where a similar issue is being discussed. There isn’t a way to 100% block all sell-up and advertising notification but. The solution in my earlier post works for me. That being said, when updates to the product that have added features are installed this must be done again. In the old forums we had discussed this issue at length. Due to the transition here to the new forums most of those posts are now long gone and cannot be reviewed. Hope this helps in some way.
