What app is being blocked?

Is it blocked from being installed, or blocked from running?

I am getting an almost continuous message from Norton of a “threat detected” and blocking is recommended. The file name of the threat is Google Chrome and the threat is detected by firewall. When I block the threat I can no longer access the internet through Google Chrome which is the search engine I use. Other options are given beside blocking but blocking is recommended. What do I need to do to make Google Chrome safe and get my internet connection back? Help, please.

Are you still seeing the message? If so, choose one of the other options that are offered that would allow you to access that app. But before you do that, please take a screenshot of the message and upload it here to we can see what feature of Norton is warning you. What I tried to upload was a Word doc with screenshots of the Norton notices.

Following instructions to the T using Snipping Tool still comes up with unable to embed document although actual screen shot shows up on right of screen as thegraphic Pressing ‘Reply’ brings up error. In the past, have been able to do this with no problem.

Have a another thread running

Using the snipping tool I save the screenshot somewhere on my desktop then perform the below as in the screenshot labeled TEST. Works for me

Edited: Wondering if user permissions aren’t set for everyone yet?
