Hi there, as you will see from the much-visited posts on your forum about exporting bookmarks, a lot of people are having trouble finding this feature in Norton Browser. It’s hard to find (perhaps deliberately?) and it’s an important feature of any browser. We shouldn’t have to go on an elaborate internet search, you should just have instructions in your FAQ. Please add this. I wasted a lot of time trying to figure it out.
I’m trying to find “exporting bookmarks” posts from “a lot of people”.
Please share Norton Community links regarding Norton Private Browser “exporting bookmarks”.
That is a fair question which I’m happy to answer. Before I posted on the forum last week, I had found two different posts, visited by more than 800 other people, in which people were stressed over not being able to export. Both posts now seem to have been Archived, but are still accessible via their links:
This one from July 2023 has 611 views – that’s a lot of people searching for the same info!
I’m not sure when the feature was added, and I’m glad and relieved that we now can export… However, it’s still obviously been very hard to find … . 800 people searching for an answer on that topic, tells me that an FAQ on the official FAQ page, is needed (…and not just a forum discussion).
Just my hunch from a stressed-customer perspective! (No longer stressed though, since you kindly showed me the steps last week )
Thanks for keeping me honest.
fwiw ~ by my experience… Norton Secure/Private Browser initial release/s were a work in progress.
Caveat: Norton Private Browser is not my daily rider.
