Norton 360 Password for settings

This is the only article I have found so far:

xhttps://nortonnortoncomsetup.quora.com/How-to-reset-your-Norton-product-setting-password

It is over 6 years old and still references Windows XP

the ‘x’ is there on purpose…I was not allowed to post with a hyperlink embedded

Yeah, I recall there was an Uninstall backdoor.

But this is not relevant anymore it seems.

Hello @EJCrammer
Yeah…Sorry. I’m not finding… ‘reset settings password’ option.

@EJCrammer
Um, did support try Norton_360_Remover tool → Remove only?

Edit:
Norton_360_Remover tool → ‘Remove only’ needs password, too.

Hello @EJCrammer
Um, did support try Norton_360_Remover tool → ‘Reboot to Safe mode’?

Edit:
Norton_360_Remover tool → ‘Reboot to Safe mode’…allows Uninstall sans my added as test: “password”

as always…your mileage may vary

Hello,
I had the same problem. Support didnt help me. A woman from support didnt know about this password, she has just asked me to access the computer. This window with password had blocked screen, even PrintScreen didnt work. Fortunately, reinstalling a new Norton helped me and the app doesnt ask me about any password, and the uknown text in Spanish(?) was disappeared.
I wonder, what was it?
