Norton code need additional information

Issue abstract: Trying to renew via a code brought in store but wont let me as needs additinal information .

Detailed description: I brought a new code because my last one ran out i tried to redeem it and it wint let me it says " Before you can start using your nortan subscription with this new key, we need some additional information to register it. please inroll at (-2027) "
I have updated the banking deatails becasue i have a new card and theres nothing else i can see or find that needs adding or updating ?
please help thanks

bought in store - meaning retail store - not Norton direct?
If you purchased a product from a retail store, you need to create a Norton account or add the purchased product to your existing account. For detailed steps, read Download your Norton product purchased from a retail store.
