Norton is Adware...very frustrating after 30 years using NU

After using Norton Utilities since the 1980's, the product has become annoying adware.   I would like to use Norton Utilities, and dont want to hear from the software or company unless it has found a virus or other issue I'm already subscribed to monitor.  Maybe once a year send some ads, but it is now just about every time I open Windows.  Norton has become an adware virus of its own.  The buttons that say Don't Tell Me Again don't work.  Eliminate adware popups.

In addition to the pop-ups, I'm really annoyed with the Norton Browser ads that are now a part of it and will stop using it TODAY.

If that is the case, then there must be hundreds of popups, because I click Do Not Show Me Again on all of them, and I get them incessantly . It’s really poor marketing. Have begun to hate the product rather than appreciate it. Again, I am a 30+ year user.

Subscription marketing message

I am sick of all the messages to buy additional services/ subscriptions. I purchased basic protection. I am barraged with messages for other services. I am frustrated with them. Is a subscription to virus protection not enough?
Does anyone know of a way to stop these from coming up?
I plan to cancel when my current subscription expires specifically because of this.

The ONLY real way to stop marketing popups from appearing is not using Norton at all. (credit)

ERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!! Norton 360

The harassment by this product makes it a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!  I was a programmer in software as a service and we would NEVER harass our customers like this.  YOU WILL LOSE MANY CUSTOMERS ON THIS PATH.  Your product is driving me to McAfee and I loathe them with a passion for decades.  But they let me use my PC..NORTON does not let me use my PC.. it interupts games on full screen even with the setting to NOT harass on full screen.   Norton DOES NOT CARE about customers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LET US TURN ON SILENT MODE INDEFINITELY.
In fact fuck it, I am never using Norton nor recommending this trash again.

Annoying Norton popup windows (ie spam)

How can i make sure that Norton will NEVER EVER open a window on my screen. It also backfires against you. This morning this popped up on my laptop while i was making a presentation to 500 business people: "New Try our Norton Secure Browser". It was so hilarious that i don't think any of those people will ever even remotely consider buying your product.

I am sick of all the freaking Advertising pop-ups FROM NORTON.  How do I turn THIER CRAP off?  I've bought what I wanted to buy.  Every freaking day they WASTE MY TIME with more adverts.  Maybe it's time to change providers?

fwiw ~ by my experience ~ clicking "Don't Show Me Again" -- not the does not eliminate all popups...just that popup.

Note: Norton 360 reinstall removes "Don't Show Me Again" ... "Don't show again" selections.
