Had issues today with Software Updater. My Auto Update was OFF, somewhere Norton decided to turn it ON without any notification.

Software Updater Turned Auto Updater ON without my knowledge!

I had Software Updater set NOT to auto update: Norton decided, without notification, to turn ithat ON, this morning Norton decided to update two apps - I WANT to control this function - NOT Norton that is why i had turned OFF auto Update. Does this mean you have to check every few minutes to see if Norton has over ridden YOUR settings? NO notification, no confirmation it had been done, only an entry in history but that does not say what apps had been updated - only found out from Widows Instal…

Did have, a couple of weeks ago, in home screen, Software Updater needs attention, similar screen to yours with 3 apps listed. Can’t remember exactly, but by either hovering over or right clicking the Update button it gives an option to ignore, from, I think, future scans. SWU setting only shows ONE being ignored. In this instance, did
not have the chance.so was unable to do that. Firefox I do manually, not this time updated involving Firefox & Firefox maintenance. History does NOT inform what it has auto updated.
Norton now auto updates the app itself, once again NO notification of that being done - during these updates, must have changed my settings against my wishes. This needs urgently changing by Norton. Version 24 -xxx seems to be pre- testing - NOT ready for release yet, just look at forum.
