There are clear instructions to disable automatic updates once you revert to the older version, that keeps it from downloading the 24.xx version again and again. Did you follow ALL the instructions in my earlier post to revert and stay reverted? You also cannot run Smart Scan or manually run live updates else you will be offered 24.xx again. Use the intelligent updater link to install virus definitions and stay current until 24.xx has been released as fully functional for everyday users.
