Can someone tell me how to shut off the annoying lower left hand pop up ads from Norton. Getting a bit annoyed by their persistence.
I have turned off automatic renewal after at least 10 years because Norton recently has embarked on a popup blitz that just cant be turned off, and I am now looking for a new anti virus product.
With my current PC set up the popups are so large that the close button is obscured, and they remain on screen unless I start a new desktop or restart.
It is also insulting to see the solutions that just don't work.
Evidently along standing and common issue which Norton refuses to correct.
Fortunately, Norton isnt the only provider available.

The only true solution to this issue.

Note: I imagine Norton feels they're providing relevant information.

I am annoyed in the same way. I turned "Special offers" to off.
"special offers" should exist. We should NOT be advertised when we purchase a product.
Its like buy a FORD and then having the radio randomly turn on for an advertisement on FORD oil changes.
Ill be calling them every single day until I don't see them anymore or until my subscription come to an end and then I will cancel the subscription.

Norton has been getting feedback for years about this issue, and as I said,...
Stepper54:
But, then again... Norton doesn't give a damn!
Users may submit feedback/concerns thru Norton Feedback &or Product Suggestions
Okay, I see that there isn't a solution and Norton doesn't give a damn about our complaints. I don't purchase software so I can spend, what spare time I have, searching for solutions to a intentional bug Norton includes in their software. This forum has the same posted problem from years back and Norton is very much aware of the irritation these pop-ups are causing, but like I said Norton doesn't give a damn! Maybe if for one day, in unison, we all turn off Norton maybe then they'd pay attention. But, then again... Norton doesn't give a damn!
Curious, do you have Special Offer Notifications On or Off?
With Special Offer Notifications Off. I see fewer Norton advert pop-ups.
for example: with Special Offer Notifications Off
and with Special Offer Notifications On
Note: View Solution calls Norton advert pop-ups.
Note: Special Offer Notifications Off does not stop all Norton pop-ups.
